Job description
Building tomorrow with today's best technology. Working at LINKIT is about pushing boundaries. Discovering, developing, sharing expertise, and continuously seeking improvement. We combine long-term strategic thinking, deep enterprise experience, and a people-focused approach to help clients transform their business processes and dominate their industries. Every day, more than 1,000 of our people from 20+ countries work on critical technology at companies like the Ministry of Defence, KLM, and ASML.
Big enough to make an impact, small enough to stay connected
The digital revolution revolves around data. And increasingly, that data is smart, self-learning. That's why at LINKIT, we're looking for an AI/ML Data Engineer who not only masters the fundamentals of Data Engineering but also has experience building, maintaining, and operationalizing machine learning and generative AI solutions. Within our squads, you'll work on projects with social and technological impact: from real-time freight data at KLM to RAG solutions for government agencies. You'll build robust, scalable infrastructure that enables and accelerates ML/AI.
Your role as an AI/ML Data Engineer
As an AI/Machine Learning Data Engineer, you are the bridge between data and intelligence. You build robust pipelines and platforms that enable machine learning and generative AI models to run securely, scalably, and reproducibly. You collaborate closely with data scientists, contribute to building MLOps environments, and implement GenAI solutions using Azure and open-source technologies. Together with your squad, you work end-to-end on projects that bring AI to life within complex enterprise environments. Your Responsibilities:
Design and build data pipelines and ML infrastructure on Azure, Databricks, and Spark
Develop, test, deploy, and monitor end-to-end ML solutions (CI/CD, MLOps)
Integrate generative AI applications such as Azure OpenAI or open-source models
Collaborate with NLP specialists, data scientists, and business stakeholders
Work with tools like Python, SQL, Airflow, MLflow, Kubernetes, and Azure ML
Job requirements
What You bring
At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, including 1+ year in ML/AI projects
Hands-on experience with generative AI (Azure OpenAI, RAG architectures, or open-source models)
Strong skills in Python, Scala, or RUST, with familiarity in CI/CD and performance monitoring
Experience with Databricks, Spark, and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS)
Understanding of setting up and managing ML pipelines and model lifecycle
You’re curious, self-driven, and thrive in team collaboration
