At LINKIT, we see sustainability as more than just a responsibility. It is an essential part of staying relevant for our clients, our people, and the world around us. Technology is evolving at a rapid pace, and we believe that progress must go hand in hand with positive impact. That's why we integrate sustainability step by step into our strategy, services, and everyday decisions.

Why we do this

We want to be an organisation where people enjoy working and collaborating. That means making choices that are thoughtful, future proof, and aligned with our values. Whether it's reducing emissions, improving wellbeing, or promoting diversity and inclusion — our sustainability efforts help us grow in the right direction.

Where we stand today

In 2024, we published our first sustainability statement, using the CSRD framework as a starting point. We mapped our impact, risks, and opportunities across people, environment, and society, and set up internal processes to report on these structurally. Many of our actions are still in their early stages, but the foundation has been laid.

A few examples of what we have already done:

• Appointed a Sustainability Manager and established the CSRD team.

• Measured our energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, and set stricter emission standards for lease cars.

• Invested in employee wellbeing and added more structure to training, inclusion, and feedback.

• Continued to report transparently, even when recent EU regulatory changes offered the option not to.

Where we are headed

2024 was about understanding and building. 2025 will be the year of action. We plan to:

• Develop a formal climate transition plan and set concrete environmental targets.

• Improve data collection on emissions across our value chain and expand our reporting.

• Introduce new policies for sustainable business operations and responsible procurement.

• Continue building a culture where sustainability is embraced by everyone — inside and outside the organisation.
